Another way to experience the snow

Snowshoes offer us a unique opportunity to walk on the snow comfortably and venture into corners of the Aran Valley that cannot be reached on skis: hidden valleys, frozen lakes, and forests that seem like another world in winter.

At Aran Days, we offer routes for all ages and levels, with explanations on safety, equipment, and technique before setting off. No prior experience is necessary.

What our routes are like

• Excursions of approximately 3.5 hours.
• Daytime outing, at sunset, or a private excursion for 2 people.
• Includes snowshoes, trekking poles, and a small snack to recharge your energy.
• The sunset excursion includes headlamps.
• Does not include waterproof mountain footwear, which is required for the activity.
